{"id":96073,"date":"2024-04-24T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-24T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/?p=96073"},"modified":"2024-04-24T06:26:10","modified_gmt":"2024-04-24T05:26:10","slug":"knocked-loose-poppy-suffocate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/knocked-loose-poppy-suffocate\/","title":{"rendered":"Knocked Loose Team Up with Poppy on &#8216;Suffocate&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the hype for <strong>Knocked Loose<\/strong>&#8216;s new album, <em>&#8216;You Won\u2019t Go Before You\u2019re Supposed To&#8217;, <\/em>continues to rise ahead of its May 10th release, the savage quintet have shared one of the year&#8217;s most anticipated collaborations. <em>&#8216;Suffocate&#8217;<\/em> sees the Kentucky group team up with <strong>Poppy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unexpectedly, it&#8217;s a frantic onslaught that sees <strong>Knocked Loose<\/strong>&#8216;s Bryan Garris and <strong>Poppy<\/strong> exchange verses with a heavy dose of blast beats, and roaring vocals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIt was so fun because her voice allowed us to expand our palette and do some weird, off-the-wall things that we maybe wouldn&#8217;t do in another song,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;guitarist Isaac Hale says of the track.&nbsp;<em>\u201cWe felt that because we had Poppy\u2019s voice involved, it allowed us to kind of push the boundaries of what we thought was feasible.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Knocked Loose &quot;Suffocate&quot; Ft.
