Just weeks removed from impressing us with ‘Emergent’<\/em><\/a>, South-West duo Mt. Onsra\u00a0<\/strong>have followed up with another fervent track called\u00a0‘Fever Dream’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It sees the multi-instrumental duo of Simon Allen and Russell Cleave deliver a brooding yet plucky number that swells with intricate time signatures.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was listening to a fair amount of King Crimson and Slint (as always) around the time I put this together, I was really playing with polyrhythms: Two different time signatures on top of each other to make a complex texture between everything. (There is a lot of this on the album,)\u201d<\/em> explains\u00a0Mt. Onsra<\/strong>‘s Russell Cleave.<\/p>\n

As his bandmate, Simon Allen states, the duo’s music is complex, its message is delivered with optimism. \u201cWhen Russ sends me a track, it\u2019s always like receiving a complex puzzle that I need to live inside for a while to understand what it needs me to do with it. This one was easy – it is a universal message that regardless of what has happened to you in life, good and bad, there is the endless universal sound that ties us together\u2026 I blame the King Crimson!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
