Chicago-based outfit\u00a0Footballhead<\/strong><\/a> continue to be productive. Having reissued their debut album,\u00a0\u2018Overthinking Everything\u2019<\/em>, in March, they’re now planning to release a mini-album called\u00a0‘Before I Die’<\/em>. It will be available through\u00a0Tiny Engines<\/strong> on August 2nd.<\/p>\n

The seven-track collection promises to emphasise Footballhead<\/strong>‘s ethos, bitter hypotheses and truths, creating a cynical narrative. ‘Before I Die’<\/em>s title track proves to be an example of this. Musically reminiscent of Jawbreaker,\u00a0‘Before I Die’<\/em> is equally gritty and melancholy as it lyrically drives home the point – we’re only here for a short time, make the most of it.<\/p>\n

‘Before I Go’<\/em> will also include the alt-rock number ‘Your Ghost’<\/a>, which was last month.<\/em><\/p>\n
