Ahead of their return to the UK next week,\u00a0Movements<\/strong> have released a new track titled\u00a0‘Afraid To Die’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

As the first slice of new music since last year’s\u00a0‘RUCKUS’<\/em> <\/a>album,\u00a0‘Afraid To Die’<\/em> sees the Southern Californian deliver an energetic post-hardcore number. With an 80’s-esque influence ringing through its chorus, its rising melody demonstrates Movements’<\/strong> versatility.<\/p>\n

“With “Afraid to Die,’ we were able to take the energy that was in RUCKUS!, and fine-tune it by exploring different realms of what this band can be and what our music can sound like, and I think we did a good job of that with this song,”<\/em> says Movements<\/strong> vocalist Patrick Miranda. “Sonically, it’s so different than anything we’ve ever done, and yet I think it still pulls on the heartstrings as a lot of our older music does. This song is energetic and bouncy, and I can see it being a really fun song to play live and I can’t wait to start doing that!”<\/em><\/p>\n

The quartet are set to kick off their return to the UK next weekend at the\u00a0Outbreak Festival<\/strong>. They will then play numerous headline shows throughout the UK and Ireland, before heading to the\u00a02000Trees Festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n
