Powerpop specialists Charly Bliss\u00a0<\/strong>are gearing up for the release of their new album,\u00a0\u2018Forever\u2019,<\/em> next month. Today, the quartet have shared a third track from the record –\u00a0‘Waiting For You’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Its timely summer release sees Charly Bliss<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>deliver a bouncy slice of indie-pop. The combination of Eva Hendrick’s bubblegum vocals with woozy guitars makes for a fun track.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the track, Hendrick says it’s\u00a0“a love song for my bandmates,”<\/em> having relocated to Australia to be with her partner during the pandemic. She adds, “<\/em>I remember watching videos of us playing shows and thinking \u201cHow could I have taken this for granted?\u201d I couldn\u2019t see how beautiful everything really was and how lucky we were. It was agonizing to be apart for that long but helpful, because I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll ever let myself forget that again.”<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2018Forever\u2019\u00a0<\/em>by\u00a0Charly Bliss<\/strong>\u00a0is released on August 16th on\u00a0Lucky Number<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
