After 16 years away, Oasis<\/strong> will be reuniting in 2025.<\/p>\n

The news of Liam and Noel Gallagher coming back together has been rumoured for a while. They escalated over the weekend after both Liam’s and Noel’s, along with\u00a0Oasis<\/strong>‘, social media accounts hinted at an announcement at 8am today (August 27th).<\/p>\n

The announcement is that\u00a0Oasis<\/strong> will be playing a series of stadium shows in the UK and Ireland. The shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin next summer will mark the\u00a0domestic leg of their OASIS LIVE 25<\/em> world tour.<\/p>\n

In a short statement, the band said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe guns have fallen silent.<\/em>
\nThe stars have aligned.<\/em>
\nThe great wait is over.<\/em>
\nCome see.<\/em>
\nIt will not be televised.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

This major announcement comes days ahead of the release of the 30th-anniversary edition of Oasis’ defining debut album –\u00a0‘Definitely Maybe’<\/em>. The equally iconic follow-up,\u00a0‘(What\u2019s The Story) Morning Glory?’<\/em>, will be celebrating its 30th anniversary next year. However, no details of a new release have yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

Having become one of Britain’s biggest bands to emerge in 1990’s, the Gallagher brothers’ rocky relationship came to ahead in 2009 leading to\u00a0Oasis<\/strong> coming to an end after seven albums.<\/p>\n
