It doesn’t seem like five minutes since we were down near Bristol celebrating 10 years of\u00a0ArcTanGent<\/strong><\/a>. However, the organisers have confirmed the first round of names for next year’s festival.<\/p>\n

Aussie progressive outfit Karnivool<\/strong> lead the first announcement and will headline on the Friday night of ATG 2025<\/strong> next August. Some of the other names announced today are Melvins<\/strong>, Rolo Tomassi<\/strong>, the recently reformed Kylesa<\/strong>, and a returning Adebisi Shank<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As always, the festival will be home to exclusive sets.\u00a0ATG\u00a0<\/strong>2025 will see\u00a0Between the Buried And Me<\/strong> performing two sets including a ‘Colours’<\/em> in full set, The Fall Of Troy<\/strong>\u00a0playing ‘Doppelganger’<\/em> in full, and Australian instrumentalists We Lost the Sea <\/strong>playing two sets, with one being made up of “hits” and other being ‘Departure Songs’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Some of the notable names announced today are\u00a0Sugar Horse<\/strong>,\u00a0Gost<\/strong>,\u00a0Kayo Dot<\/strong>, Alpha Male Tea Party<\/strong>,\u00a0Vessels<\/strong>, Giant Walker<\/strong>, and\u00a0Chalk Hands<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Commenting on today’s announcement,\u00a0ArcTanGent Festival<\/strong> booker and organiser James Scarlett commented;\u00a0“We go again! We\u2019ve already got some huge reunions in the form of Kylesa, Adebisi Shank and Vessels, plus some legendary albums in full from The Fall Of Troy, We Lost The Sea and Between The Buried And Me. We\u2019re also delighted to welcome Melvins and our Friday headliners, Karnivool, to their first ever ATG. We\u2019re starting as we mean to go on – ArcTanGent 2025 is going to be ridiculous!”<\/em><\/p>\n
