French metalcore titans\u00a0Landmvrks<\/strong> have confirmed they will\u00a0release a new album in 2025. ‘The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been’<\/em> will be released on\u00a0 <\/span>April 5th via Arising Empire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Considered to be the band’s\u00a0“most personal and ambitious work to date”<\/em>,\u00a0‘The Darkest Place\u2026’<\/em> promises to maintain the band’s momentum built in recent years. With a blend of crushing riffs, soaring melodies, and emotive lyrics,\u00a0Landmvrks<\/strong> has become one of Europe’s noteworthy metalcore bands.<\/p>\n

The announcement of the album is complemented by a double single –\u00a0‘Sulfur’<\/em> and\u00a0‘Sombre 16’<\/em>. The former is a rugged and chaotic slice of stomping metalcore with sharp riffs and a hint of nu-metal.\u00a0‘Sombre 16’<\/em> serves as a hip-hop-leaning interlude with vocalist Florent Salfati rapping in his native French tongue.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the new album and singles,\u00a0Landmvrks<\/strong> said;\u00a0<\/em>“The tracks and the new album follow a protagonist as he descends deeper and deeper into hell, undergoing both physical and mental transformation.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The Darkest Place\u2026’\u00a0<\/em>will also feature\u00a0‘Creature’<\/em>, which was released this past January, as well as a collaboration with\u00a0While She Sleeps<\/strong> guitarist Mat Welsh.<\/p>\n

Having recently toured the UK with\u00a0Beartooth<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Landmvrks<\/strong> will be back on these shores in May for the Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
