Known for hosting some of the best rock, pop-punk, emo, metalcore, ska punk, and punk rock every year, 2025 sees them going above and beyond with a stacked lineup that covers all of the aforementioned.<\/p>\r\n<p>After sitting out last year&#8217;s festival,\u00a0<strong>Already Heard<\/strong> will be heading to the South leg of the late Bank Holiday gathering. Nevertheless, it&#8217;s finally happening, and rightly s,o they&#8217;re one of the main headliners. Returning to the UK off the back of releasing <a href=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/newmusicfriday-march-21st-2025\/#ADTR\"><em>&#8216;Big Ole Album, Vol. 1&#8217;<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<strong>ADTR<\/strong> have a point to prove after some relatively absent years. Last year&#8217;s\u00a0<em>&#8216;Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs&#8217; <\/em>saw the Chicago-founded band return with a cohesive set of songs that brought <strong>Trio<\/strong>&#8216;s blood-drenched punk up-to-date, yet retained the familiar sharp songwriting.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Aided by the dual vocal work of Dan Andriano and Matt Skiba, along with drummer Atom Willard, <strong>Alkaline Trio<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has more than enough festival-ready material at their disposal. Their combination of crushing metalcore and euphoric EDM has seen them packing out venues all over the place. Rarely a band to take themselves too seriously, their live shows are more often than not a rapturous party. In short, they love to bring back some influential bands that rarely hit these shores now. Alongside\u00a0<strong>The Starting Line<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Hit The Lights<\/strong>, <strong>The Ataris<\/strong>,\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">and<strong> Homegrown<\/strong><\/span>, <strong>Slam Dunk<\/strong> 2025 will welcome\u00a0<strong>Finch<\/strong> back for the first time in a decade.<\/p>\r\n<p>The Californian post-hardcore band delivered two outstanding albums in the early to mid-2000s with <em>&#8216;What It Is to Burn&#8217;<\/em> and\u00a0<em>&#8216;Say Hello to Sunshine&#8217;<\/em>. For the best part of a decade, Welsh wonders\u00a0<strong>Neck Deep<\/strong> have stacked up a barrage of anthems, ready-made for big stages.\u00a0 Last year\u2019s self-titled album saw them return to form in a big way, with tracks like\u00a0<em>&#8216;Heartbreak of the Century&#8217;\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>&#8216;Dumbstruck Dumbf**k&#8217;<\/em>. highlighting their hook-filled pop-punk power.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>While past performances have occasionally been hit or miss, <strong>Neck Deep<\/strong> have the songs (and the fanbase) to more than justify their slot near the top of the bill. Nevertheless, in short, they&#8217;re pop-punk legends on par with Blink-182 and Green Day. Another one of the most noteworthy names with plenty of momentum behind them is\u00a0<strong>Scowl<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Having recently released their second album,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/review-scowl-are-we-all-angels\/\">&#8216;Are We All Angels,&#8217;<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>the Californian hardcore punks return to the UK with an infectious collection of songs.
