In a week that\u00a0vocalist Courtney LaPlante went viral after being mistaken for\u00a0Poppy<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0at the Grammy Awards,\u00a0Spiritbox<\/strong> <\/span>delivered another taster of their new album –\u00a0‘Tsunami Sea\u2019<\/a><\/em>. The track is called\u00a0‘No Loss, No Love’<\/em> and sees the modern metal quartet pushing the boundaries. It takes in pulverising prog-metal, hypnotic electronica, and haunting spoken-word passages, creating a frantic and engaging track.<\/p>\n

The music video for\u00a0‘No Loss, No Love’<\/em> was directed by Max Moore and Spiritbox<\/strong>‘s own <\/span>Mike Stringer. The monochrome visual captures the heavy, guttural blasts and electronic flourishes. One moment the band are cast out in the middle of the sea with waves crashing around them the next LaPlante is draped in pearls and avant-garde make-up.<\/p>\n

Spirtibox<\/strong>‘s long-awaited second album\u00a0\u2018Tsunami Sea\u2019<\/em> will be released on March 7th through Pale Chord<\/strong> in partnership with Rise Records<\/strong>. It will be preceded by a sold-out show next Thursday at London’s Alexandra Palace. They will then be back in the UK in June. First, they\u2019ll be returning to the\u00a0Download Festival<\/strong><\/a>, and then supporting\u00a0Linkin Park<\/strong>\u00a0at Wembley Stadium in London.<\/p>\n
