Chaotic Atlanta sextet\u00a0The Callous Daoboys\u00a0<\/strong>will return on May 16th with the release of their new album – ‘I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven’<\/em>. Described as “a sonic exploration”<\/em> it will be released through MNRK Heavy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As always, The Callous Daoboys\u00a0<\/strong>provide plenty of intrigue with vocalist Carson Pace sharing \u201cThe album is an artifact that\u2019s been preserved, and hundreds of years in the future, you\u2019re listening to this album in the museum. It\u2019s a known failure, but the narrative is \u2018if it survives forever, is it truly a failure?'”<\/em><\/p>\n

The Callous Daoboys\u00a0<\/strong>frontman goes on to explain how ‘I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven’\u00a0<\/em>is\u00a0“very singular and personal”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m not making an album commenting on anything societal or political this time, this is an album just for me. It\u2019s every emotion I\u2019ve felt and sobering thought since 2021,”<\/em>\u00a0 he explains. “I can only make this album now, not in three years when I\u2019m thirty, not ten years ago when I was seventeen. This is the snapshot of 24-27. A scrapbook of trial and error, or better yet, a Museum of Failure.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The announcement also sees the release of a double single\/video for ‘Two-Headed Trout’<\/em> and\u00a0‘The Demon of Unreality Limping Like A Dog’<\/em>.
