The track is called<em> &#8216;Tonight (I&#8217;m Afraid)&#8217;<\/em> sees them incorporate melodic alternative rock into their razor-sharp sound, before vocalist Kat Moss breaks down at the halfway point.\u00a0Its vulnerable nature turns into a tour-de-force of visceral screams and feedback<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;Tonight (I&#8217;m Afraid)&#8217;<\/em> comes with a flip-book animated video by Adult Swim animator Adam Fuchs. The visuals embrace the track&#8217;s dark tone, depicting <strong>Scowl<\/strong> being attacked by a woodland monster.<\/p>\n<p>The track follows\u00a0<i>&#8216;Are We All Angels&#8217;<\/i> previous singles; <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/u_mZbGUJRC4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>&#8216;B.A.B.E.&#8217;<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/PALtvM3SyYI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>&#8216;Not Hell, Not Heaven,&#8217;<\/em><\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/CGzyxGSqaE4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>&#8216;Special&#8217;<\/em><\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/scowl.lnk.to\/Are-We-All-Angels\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>\u2018Are We All Angels\u2019<\/em><\/a> will be released on April 4th via <b>Dead Oceans<\/b>. It sees the quintet work with producer Will Yip (Turnstile, Title Fight, Movements) once again, and promises to see the Californian outfit expand their sound. Just as <em>&#8216;Tonight (I&#8217;m Afraid)&#8217;\u00a0<\/em>shows,\u00a0<strong>Scowl<\/strong> utilise harmonies and a more textured execution. Citing influences ranging from Billie Eilish to Radiohead, and Car Seat Headrest to Julien Baker, <i>&#8216;Are We All Angels&#8217;<\/i>\u00a0looks set to be\u00a0<strong>Scowl<\/strong>&#8216;s most eclectic release to date.<\/p>\n<p>However, they won&#8217;t be sacrificing their punk ethos as guitarist Malachi Greene explains;\u00a0<em>&#8220;At our core, we are a punk and a hardcore band, regardless of how the song shifts and changes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Scowl -
