Fresh off completing a UK and European tour with\u00a0Silverstein<\/strong> and\u00a0Thursday<\/strong>, Atlanta sextet The Callous Daoboys<\/strong> have shared a third track from their upcoming \u2018I Don\u2019t Want to See You in Heaven\u2019<\/em><\/a> album. The track is titled\u00a0‘Lemon’<\/em> and sees the group push their genre-crossing muscles to the limits. With its hip-hop beat and Carson Pace’s smooth vocals, it’s a track that is sure to polarise opinions. However, it’s the reaction the band expects from ‘Lemon’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Some people are going to love this one, some people are going to hate this one, it\u2019s just the reality of things,”\u00a0<\/em> shared Carson Pace.<\/p>\n

The stripped-back track allows The Callous Daoboys<\/strong> to deliver a\u00a0raw, straight-from-the-heart tale of a toxic relationship.\u00a0“‘Lemon’ represents every frustration that you\u2019ve ever had with a judgmental lover who wants you to give up on your art. ‘Lemon’ says \u2018fuck that, you didn\u2019t love me anyway,’\u201d<\/em> says Carson.<\/p>\n

As mentioned,\u00a0‘Lemon’<\/em> is the third track to be released from\u00a0‘I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven’.<\/em> It follows the double single\/video, \u2018Two-Headed Trout\u2019<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0\u2018The Demon of Unreality Limping Like A Dog\u2019<\/em>, last month. The album is set to be released 16th May through MNRK Heavy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
