As they prepare to release the third volume of their ‘Burst and Decay’\u00a0<\/em>series on May 9th,\u00a0The Wonder Years<\/strong> have shared a reworked version of\u00a0‘I Don’t Like Who I Was Then’<\/em>. It sees guest vocals from\u00a0Ryland Heagy of Origami Angel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Having previously toured together, this reimagined take of the song that originally appeared on 2015’s\u00a0‘ No Closer to Heaven’<\/em>, sees\u00a0The Wonder Years<\/strong>‘ Dan Campbell and Heagy share vocals. It’s complemented by the Little Kruta String Ensemble, who add sweeping strings to the acoustic-led number. Although it maintains ‘Burst and Decay’s<\/em> stripped-back nature, the punchy, preserving tone of the original remains intact.<\/p>\n

It’s the second track to be released from the upcoming collection. Last month, The Wonder Years<\/strong> shared an original new song called\u00a0‘Junebug’<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘Burst and Decay Vol. III’<\/em><\/a> is released on May 9th via\u00a0Hopeless Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
