This impressive progress doesn\u2019t come unsolicited, and their debut proves this rapid success boils down to their undeniable dedication to their genre.<!-- more --><\/p>\n<p>Strikingly heavy with an impressive leading line, opener <em>\u2018Gamblers Ruin\u2019<\/em> strategically conflicts heartfelt cleans versus gut-wrenching screams. With characteristically relentless energy, <strong>wars<\/strong> swear an oath to deliver menacing rage at every turn.<\/p>\n<p>Disillusioned and forthright, <em>\u2018Eight On The Balantine Scale\u2019<\/em> pours hardcore vengeance into every note, traversing tricky fretwork and Lee Tysall\u2019s masterful drums. <em>\u201cWe are the broken machines,\u201d<\/em> chants vocalist Rob Vicars through the unrepentant rage of <em>\u2018Weathered Eyes\u2019<\/em>, amid heartfelt cries for help and a punishing riff.<\/p>\n<p>Beautifully melodic and crushing in its vocalisation of mental torment, <em>\u2018The Leviathan and the Liar\u2019<\/em> is hell-bent on breaking floorboards and raising roofs. The EP\u2019s only downfall lies in its inconsequential instrumental <em>\u201900:01\u2019<\/em>.
