The track titled\u00a0<em>&#8216;Tall People Don\u2019t Live Long&#8217;<\/em>, follows the pairings 2022 collaboration, <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/5tKdZWK1iAs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>&#8216;Pressure Cooking&#8217;<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The track takes a beat-heavy approach, leaning into\u00a0<strong>Dazy<\/strong>&#8216;s harmonious indie-pop sound, providing a laid-back, summery vibe in the process.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIan and I wrote this song shortly after \u2018Pressure Cooker\u2019 came out and it made us realize how daring we could actually be with songwriting,<\/em>&#8221; <strong>Dazy\u2019<\/strong>s James Goodson offers.\u00a0<em>&#8220;It came together really quickly in an afternoon of us sending ideas back and forth, and I\u2019ll never forget how we couldn\u2019t stop listening to the demo and saying \u2018I can\u2019t believe we wrote this.\u2019 Years later we were finally able to get together and take the song over the finish line with Justin Raisen. We see Dazy &amp; Militarie Gun as basically its own band, a separate body of work from our other music with its own identity, and I think this song really solidified that idea for us.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Militarie Gun<\/strong>&#8216;s Ian Shelton commented on the track&#8217;s title and meaning.\u00a0<em>\u201cJames is taller than me, so you can guess how I came up with the title of this song. What started as a joke between us turned into a real conversation about how sometimes people who have reached certain heights in life begin to look down on others. \u2019Tall people\u2019 became our tongue-in-cheek term for anyone that\u2019s lost so much perspective that they think it\u2019s alright to make someone feel less-than. This song is about rejecting that attitude\u2014the bigger they are, the harder they fall.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The track is\u00a0<strong>Militarie Gun<\/strong>&#8216;s first new music since last year&#8217;s infectious standalone single,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/militarie-gun-share-new-single-thought-you-were-waving\/\"><em>&#8216;Thought You Were Waving&#8217;<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Dazy, Militarie Gun -
