It&#8217;s called\u00a0<em>&#8216;Death Above Life&#8217;<\/em> and will be released through\u00a0<strong>Century Media Records<\/strong> on October 3rd.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThe album represents change, a new beginning,\u201d says <strong>Orbit Culture <\/strong>guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Niklas Karlsson, announcing the album. <em>\u201cIt brings up a lot of good and bad emotions but it\u2019s a big change for the better. It feels like a rebirth.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Swedish metallers have also dropped its title track. Proving to be an onslaught of\u00a0thrash, death metal and industrial,\u00a0<em>&#8216;Death Above Life&#8217;<\/em> shows\u00a0<strong>Orbit Culture<\/strong>&#8216;s intent to, as they put it, kick\u00a0<em>&#8220;the doors wide open&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;It\u2019s darker, heavier, and leans into a more horror-driven side of Orbit Culture. Lyrically, it reflects a choice: when faced with the idea of continuing down a path surrounded by the wrong people, we sometimes know that we have to cut ties,&#8221;<\/em> the band explain.<em> &#8220;It is not literally about choosing death but walking away from what is holding us back. \u2018Death Above Life\u2019 is about letting go of what no longer fits to make space for something real.
