Now, as they prepare to appear at this weekend&#8217;s <strong>Bloodstock Festival<\/strong>, they&#8217;ve shared more details about the record.<\/p>\n<p>Due for release on October 31st through <strong>Spinefarm<\/strong>, it sees the horror rockers deliver a thematic sequel to 2023&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/review-creeper-sanguivore\/\"><em>&#8216;Sanguivore&#8217;<\/em><\/a>. Using its bloodied vampiric heart as the common thread between both records, <em>&#8216;Sanguivore II: Mistress Of Death&#8217;\u00a0<\/em>is set in the 1980s when hard rock and heavy metal were met with &#8220;Satanic Panic&#8221; from certain groups. Its 12 songs tell a tale of a vampire band on a rampage, only to meet their match in the form of\u00a0<em>&#8216;The Mistress Of Death&#8217;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Creeper<\/strong> vocalist William Von Ghould expands,\u00a0<em>\u201cBeneath the flashing neon of a distant dream, a rock and roll nightmare is coming true. A vampire band rampages across 1980s America, leaving only corpses behind. But on the horizon, a shadow stirs. Part slasher, part satanic panic nightmare, a new force rises through the mist, ready to hunt the hunter. The Mistress Of Death is a vampire huntress on a path to end this vampire bloodline for good. Pavor Nocturnu<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.creepercult.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pre <em>&#8216;Sanguivore II: Mistress Of Death&#8217;<\/em> here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Watch the video for Creeper&#8217;s New Single &#8211;\u00a0<em>&#8216;Blood Magick (It\u2019s A Ritual)&#8217;<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>Alongside the announcement of &#8216;<em>Sanguivore II: Mistress Of Death,&#8217;\u00a0<\/em><strong>Creeper<\/strong> have premiered the album&#8217;s second single.\u00a0<em>&#8216;Blood Magick (It\u2019s A Ritual)&#8217;\u00a0<\/em>sees the quintet maintain the &#8217;80&#8217;s theatrical metal sound heard on\u00a0<em>&#8216;Headstones&#8217;.<\/em> However, it&#8217;s ramped by\u00a0William Von Ghould\u2019s commanding, Germanic tone, Hannah Greenwood\u2019s bewitching backing vocals, and a solid 80&#8217;s riff. It also plays into the\u00a0demonic power and devilish black humour that\u00a0<strong>Creeper<\/strong> embrace on\u00a0<em>&#8216;Sanguivore II&#8217;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Its video, directed by Harry Steel, takes influence from Rob Zombie\u2019s <em>\u2018House of 1000 Corpses\u2019<\/em> and Oliver Stone\u2019s <em>\u2018Natural Born Killers\u2019<\/em>.
