Today Already Heard is kicking off a new regular feature called ‘Pop-Punk Approved & Recommended.’ Headed by our resident Pop-Punk scout Joe Hurst, we will be seeking out the best up and coming Pop-Punk bands worldwide.
Since 2010, Joe has been running a Pop-Punk label called Hang Tight Records, whose back catalog includes releases from With The Punches, Me vs Hero, and Carridale.

I first heard about this band just before their US tour with With the Punches and Carridale. Billy (Canino Guitar / Vocals) Threw me over a download of ‘Just Give it Up’ and I was hooked. Instantly.
The record is full of energy from start to finish. And I was amazed that this is a debut full length. The boys have an EP coming out spring time next year, and I have heard one demo from it. Surprisingly enough it dosen’t disappoint. If you like straight up, balls out Pop-punk, then get into Thieves now, as this band will just go from strength to strength.
