Two years ago, Bristol alt-metallers Mallavora won the opportunity to open up Download Festival‘s Avalanche Stage. Since then, they’ve been riding a wave of momentum, capped by releasing their fantastic debut album, ‘What If Better Never Comes?’
The quartet recently returned to Donington to play to an exclusive crowd in the RIP Courtyard. We caught up with vocalist Jessica Douek and guitarist Larry Sobieraj to discuss the impact of their initial Download appearance, the overwhelming response to their hometown album show, and their upcoming (and immersive) UK tour.
