Earlier this month we bought you news that Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson had been undergoing treatment for cancer. Despite the news, Dickinson has successfully completed treatment. Today news emerged of even better news for Iron Maiden fans.
In an interview with 98.7 The Gater, drummer Nicko McBrain revealed the band have recorded a new album but won’t be releasing it until Bruce Dickinson has fully recovered.
McBrain was quoted saying:
“We have made an album. It was ready to go this year – and still is. We were planning on going out and doing some work around the album. We’re all just holding on. Once Bruce is up and running, hopefully in the next couple of months… you never know when this might happen.“
