Last month Groezrock launched its now annual Macbeth Blackstar competition which gives bands the opportunity to play the Meerhout, Belgium festival.
They have revealed the list of 30 bands who have been selected by a panel of music industry professionals and will now be put forward to a public vote which begins on Monday February 2nd.
Some the names to make the list of 30 include Leeds based indie punks Bad Ideas, Nottingham pop rockers Lacey, Norwich Folk Punk group Ducking Punches and Cumbria punk trio Colt 45.
The voting process closes on February 17th.
