The latest batch of bands for the first ever Manchester Punk Festival has been announced and sees the likes of Leagues Apart, Muncie Girls, Hindsights, and Boston Manor joining the bill.

Other names that have been announced today are Simmer, Beat The Red Light, and Holiday. Whillst Speed Dinosaurs, Tim Loud and Skank Agenda have been announced for the acoustic stage.

The Manchester Punk Festival will be spread over 5 venues on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th April. Friday will see two evening gigs; one at Sound Control and the other at Ducie Bridge. On Saturday Sound Control will host two stages with an acoustic stage across the road at the Thirsty Scholar. Two aftershow parties will also take place on Saturday; one at Joshua Brooks and the other at Retro Bar.

Tickets are now available for £13 from the TNS webstore. On the 2nd Feb they will increase to £15 and be more on the door.

Manchester Punk Festival is hosted by TNS Records, Moving North and Anarchistic Undertones.
