News has emerged that New York melodic punk band The Movielife has reformed and will be playing shows in the new year.

In a new interview with Noisey, vocalist Vinnie Caruana hinted at the possibility of the band playing shows in the UK:

“I don’t think the UK would allow us to reunite and not come visit them. I think the hatred and frustration would implode the whole country, so we’re definitely going to come over there, I think. I mean, I’d like to. Brandon and I are the two biggest Anglophiles in the band, so the two of us definitely want to visit.”

The Movielife split up in 2003 after releasing three studio albums. They briefly reformed in 2011 for a handful of Stateside shows.
