The James Cleaver Quintet have announced bassist Jimmy has left the band and has been replaced by former Darkshaft member Michael Triponel.
However the band have announced they will be revealing details of their second album in the near future.
The JCQ made the following statement:
“Good morning world. So it is with heavy hearts that we are sorry to announce the departure of our bassist and good friend Jimmy. Unfortunately due to many reasons, Jimmy just doesn’t feel that he can commit as much as he would like to The JCQ any longer and has decided to step down from bass duties. We wish him the very best of luck with all his future endeavors.
But fear not! Thankfully we have found the perfect replacement in the form of one Michael Triponel. Some of you may recognise him from Darkshaft fame, and if you haven’t yet, check them out immediately. You won’t be disappointed.
NOW THE GOOD NEWS – we will be announcing the release date, and a new track from our second album in just a few days! Stay tuned to our page for updates, we cannot wait to start this new chapter and share what we’ve been working so hard on for the past few months with you all.
Much love, The JCQ.”
