It’s been a news-packed week for Slipknot fans, and ahead of their Download Festival headline appearance on Sunday, they’ve dropped a new EP – ‘Adderall’.
The majority of the six-track set consists of demo/alternate versions of the opening track from last year’s ‘The End, So Far’.

Shawn “Clown” Crahan to Miss Slipknot European Dates
Earlier this week, founding member and percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan announced he would be sitting out the band’s current European show to take care of his wife.
“Hello to all of our fans, it’s the clown. I would like to take a moment to tell everyone that I’m back home supporting my wife through some health issues, and I’ll be back on the road as soon as I can.”
“We’ve been through this before and as always, we appreciate the love and support. See all of you very soon.” said Crahan on the band’s Instagram.
Craig Jones Parts Ways with Slipknot
On Wednesday (June 7th), the band announced longtime sampler and keyboardist Craig Jones had parted ways with the band. The band shared a short message online, simply stating “To our fans, Slipknot is announcing that we have parted ways with Craig Jones. We wish Jones all the best for the future.”
The band later shared an image of an unknown member of the group who has replaced Jones.
