Fever 333 are back and as brash as ever. Coinciding with Black History Month, ‘Ready Rock’ sees the quartet pay homage to black artists of the past who laid down the foundations of rock n’ roll. Ultimately, it sees Fever 333 emphasises the often-forgotten notion that “Rock Music is Black Music”.
Led by outspoken vocalist Jason Butler, 2023 saw Fever 333 undergo a lineup change with drummer Thomas Pridgen (The Mars Volta, Thundercat, Trash Talk), viral sensation bassist April Kae, and guitarist Brandon Davis joining. ‘Ready Rock’ captures the chaotic, rapturous and explosive style that Fever 333 have become known for, and follows their recent UK dates supporting Enter Shikari.
Serving up as a molotov cocktail of punk, hip-hop, and thrash, Fever 333 continue to be an advocate for activism, focusing on community, charity, and change. The track is the latest teaser of a currently untitled second full-length album, following last year’s ‘$wing’.
‘Ready Rock’ by Fever 333 is out now on 333Wreckords Crew via Century Media.
