Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have announced they will be going on an indefinite hiatus, following their forthcoming UK and European tour.

The duo of Frank Carter and guitarist Dean Richardson formed the band in 2015, debuting their first album, ‘Blossom’ in the same year. Since then, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes achieved four Top Ten UK Album Chart positions with 2019’s ‘End of Suffering’ being the highest place at number 4. Their latest album, ‘Dark Rainbow’, was released in January of this year.

In our write-up of the album, we highlighted Carter’s “raw and poignant” songwriting allowing the band to comfortably grow.

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes final tour includes two UK shows in Brighton and London. They will then head to Denmark, Germany,  the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Spain before ending in Eindhoven in the Netherlands on November 16th.

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes shared the following statement announcing their hiatus.

9 years, 5 Albums, hundreds of stages shared all over the world and our songs sung with each and every one of you.

It is with sadness we announce that The Rattlesnakes are taking a hiatus.

From the deepest lows to highest highs, in grief in anger and in joy, our band has been a celebration of being alive no matter the circumstances.

We want to send our love and thanks to the band – Gareth, Tank, Elliot & Mitch. It’s been a privilege to share the stage with some of the best musicians we know.

So please join us all in celebration of the songs that changed our lives.

Our UK and European Tour will go ahead and we look forward to seeing you all on the dancefloor.
