After two successful festivals in 2024, Outbreak will be taking place across two cities in June 2025.
The DIY hardcore and punk event will spread across two locations for the first time. It’ll begin in London on Friday, June 13th with a one-day, multi-stage event. Outbreak will then move up North to its more familiar home of Manchester for two days (Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of June). The Manchester dates will take place at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre.
Festival organisers have explained the event will take place slightly earlier than its usual late June date. This is due to how the “headliner and site availability has lined up this time”. Additionally, a press release states “each city will contain varying lineups that continue to push Outbreak’s ethos of boundary-breaking music from across the counterculture; from contemporary icons to burgeoning stars of the future.”
It’s also worth noting Outbreak Fest 2025 is scheduled to take place as the Download Festival.
This year saw Outbreak host two festivals at Manchester’s Bowlers Exhibition Centre. In June, Action Bronson, Basement, and American Football topped the bill across three days of hip-hop, hardcore, emo, and punk. Last month, Outbreak Autumn, saw the likes of The Story So Far, Citizen, Speed, and more play an all-dayer in the same venue.
