News has emerged overnight that former My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar has passed away. He was 44 years old.

Bryar was found dead at his home in Tennessee this past Tuesday (November 26th 2924). According to numerous sources, no foul play is suspected with authorities stating “weapons and music equipment in the home were left untouched”. Reports state he was last seen on November 4th.

Bob Bryar replaced Matt Pelissier in My Chemical Romance following the release of ‘Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge’ in 2004. He is currently the band’s longest-serving drummer. Bryar would be involved in the making of the band’s most successful record, ‘The Black Parade’, in 2006. He would also contribute to tracks that made up the band’s ‘Conventional Weapons’ series of singles. Bryar departed the band in 2010, citing “creative differences”. He would leave before the release of ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys’. However, he is credited with writing a selection of songs on the album.

Following his departure, he would work in various backstage/behind the scenes roles in the music industry before transitioing into a career in real estate. He also supported animal sheltering causes, selling My Chemical Romance memorabillia for charity.

Our thoughts are with Bryar’s family, friends, and fans.
