As they prepare to unleash their eleventh album, ‘The Sky, The Earth & All Between’, next month, Architects have dropped the album’s fourth single. ‘Blackhole’ sees the quartet in vicious form with a towering slice of thrilling metalcore. With Dan Searle’s bold, destructive drum work, Alex “Ali” Dean’s rigid bass, and Sam Carter’s barbed vocals, it’s topped by Adam Christianson’s fiery guitar solo.
It’s complemented by a compelling video. Directed by Jensen Noen, it sees Architects get caught up an impactful storm as the world around them collapses. “I’m so excited to have Blackhole out, it’s one of my favourite songs from the album,” shared Carter. “The video is equally as intense as the song. We filmed the video at such a wild location and we really are at the top of those buildings that you see. This is Architects at our most ferocious.”
‘The Sky, The Earth & All Between’ was announced last November, and is due to be released on February 28th via Epitaph. Alongside ‘Blackhole’, it will include previous singles ‘Seeing Red,’ ‘Curse’, and ‘Whiplash’.
