Since forming in 2013, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania quartet Beach Slang have winning over admirers on both sides of the Atlantic for their brand of heart-on-sleeve punk rock. This past October they released the critically acclaimed ‘The Things We Do to Find People Who Feel Like Us.’ Through their blend of lyrical defiance and uplifting hooks, Beach Slang have become one of punks most admirable pacesetters.
In January, the four-piece returned to the UK for a headline tour. We met up with vocalist James Alex on the final day of the tour in Southampton to record a two part “Already Heard Session.” For part one, James treated us to a raw version of ‘Too Late To Die Young.’
