Last month, Ohio indie-emo outfit Annabel made their return with ‘Defense Mechanism‘. Along with it came the announcement of a new album, ‘Worldviews’. Now the quintet have delivered the title track.
Executed with an abundance of urgency and anxiety-ridden lyricism, it maintains the introspective tone that fans can expect from the album of the same name. As previously stated, ‘Worldviews’ sees vocalist Ben Hendricks ruminate and reconcile with the way the world has changed. While this title track sees Hendricks consider his purpose with “a black and white worldview”.
