Cardiff-based independent label Barely Regal Records have announced details of 2 new signings.

The first is Soul Structure. Based out of Nottingham and rising from the ashes of Plaids, the trio also includes members from Akallabêth and Police Drama. Their debut EP, ‘The Body of Man’, will receive a full release in the summer however it can be streamed below. If you were a fan of Plaids, then you’ll like what Soul Structure has to offer; frantic, plucky guitars, rapid-fire drums, and shifting tempos delivering an emo/punk manner.

The second signing is Manchester duo Big Machine. Having been in 2/3rds in hardcore outfit Hammers, their self-titled effort is seven short blasts of sludgy experimental hardcore. Barely Regal Records will be releasing ‘Big Machine’ on 7" but is available now on Bandcam, and can be streamed below.
