Metalcore giants Bring Me The Horizon like to surprise fans. Having surprised released ‘Post Human: Nex Gen’ at short notice last May, they’ve now released a cover of Oasis‘ classic song – ‘Wonderwall’. It sees the Sheffield-founded quartet put their own metallic stamp on the BritPop number.
The track is part of Spotify’s long-running ‘Singles Club’ series. It’s seen a whole host of names contribute unique singles. Amongst them are Idles, Meet Me @ The Altar, Wet Leg, Avril Lavigne, Yungblud, and Dashboard Confessional.
The b-side to Bring Me The Horizon‘s ‘Wonderwall’ cover is a ‘EarthcOre’ remix of ‘Post Human: Nex Gen’ album track – ‘YOUtopia’.
The band, and their label, Sony/RCA, have stated that 100% of profit from the single will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.
On the live front, Bring Me The Horizon‘s only UK appearance for 2025 will be their headline slot at the Reading and Leeds Festival. While Oasis will embark on a run of stadium reunion shows this summer.
