With the release of their new album, ‘Downpour,’ fast approaching, Charmer have shared a third track from the record. The track is titled ‘Night’ and is considered to be a “haunting snapshot of the human mind’s limit when coping with heightened circumstances”. Treading with a pensive shimmer in its verses, the Michigan emo-punk group resolutely explode in the chorus.
Made up of vocalist/guitarist David Daignault, guitarist Neil Berg, bassist Zack Alworden, and drummer Nick Erickson, Charmer‘s third album promises to maintain the melodic urgency and emotional depth of past releases. As ‘Night,’ along with past singles, ‘Blue Joy’ and ‘Arrowhead’, showed, the quartet are lyrically wiser, weathered, yet faintly optimistic.
