Church Road Records Welcome Iron Form

Church Road Records has announced UK metalcore newcomers Iron Form has joined their label.

The duo is made up of UK metal stalwarts and lifelong friends Alex Heffernan and Mario Gambardella. Iron Form is the culmination of playing numerous bands including Svalbard, Handcuff, and Eulogy. Their debut EP, ‘Cut From Cold Blood,’ is due to be released through the label on March 21st. Taking inspiration from early 2000s post-hardcore and metalcore, its five tracks promises to be a visceral collection.

The EP’s first single, ‘Become the Blade’, serves as a teaser for ‘Cut From Cold Blood’ with its melodic passages, weighty riffs and candid vocals. Furthermore, ‘Become the Blade’ is part of a concept record that weaves a narrative of unforeseen suffering. Ultimately, ‘Cut From Cold Blood’ aims to deliver a strong message advocating for human liberation and unstoppable mental fortitude.

“‘Become The Blade’ tells a direct and cruel story of losing rationale in a moment of extreme grief, being only able to see anger and vengeance as a viable path to the future,” Iron Form explained. “The song takes the form of an unsuspectingly anthemic mix of melodic hardcore and alternative metal—a catchy heavy hitter filled with twinkly intertwining guitars and impassioned vocals.”
