Down I Go to Return with New Album in October

Down I Go have announced they will be releasing their first album since splitting up in 2011 in October.

With its members living across the globe; Chicago, Toronto, Stockholm, the experimental hardcore act were asked by an Icelandic fan if they’d be interested in spending some time on his farm to work on a follow up to 2010’s ‘Gods’. The trio accepted and over nine days they wrote and recorded the record that would become ‘You’re Lucky God, That I Cannot Reach You’.

Influenced by a book of tales of Icelandic legends and folklore, the album captures Down I Go at their most horrifying and msot beautiful. The album will be released on October 23rd through Holy Roar Records.
