HMV have confirmed that they will begin accepting gift vouchers again from tomorrow (January 22).
The news followers last weeks events where the high street retail chain went into administration.
Since then Deloitte, the company who have been to administrate HMV, are said to have received over 50 different parties interested in purchasing the company, with video game store GAME rumoured to be interested in up to 50 stores.
It has also been speculated a consortium of major music labels and film studios are reportedly assembling a rescue package, with Universal Music, Warner Music and Sony set to cut the price of CD’s and DVD’s. Film giants, including 20th Century Fox, Universal Studios and Warner Bros, are also said to be involved.
