The company behind Metal Hammer, Prog Magazine and Classic Rock magazine, Team Rock Ltd has gone into administration resulting in over 70 job loses.

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes have brought forward the release of ‘Modern Ruin’ by one week. It will now be released on January 20th.

Danny Worsnop has joined Earache Records for his upcoming debut solo album ‘The Long Road Home’. The album will be released on February 17th.

LA space-rock quintet Sleeptalk has signed a deal with Gold Standard Records, a label owned by Artery Recordings. A full-length album is set for release in 2017.

Festival News

The next round of bands for Groezrock have been announced and sees Thrice, H2O, Ignite, Turning Point, and Oathbreaker joining the bill. The other names announced today are Belvedere Band, Skinny Lister, Tim Vantol, He Is Legend, Petrol Girls, Bent Life, and AJJ.

The first names for Camden Rocks Festival 2017 have been revealed with Punk legends The Damned, stoner rock giants Orange Goblin, and The Ruts DC heading up the announcement.

Manchester Punk Festival have made their penultimate announcement and sees the following bands joining the multi-venue three-day festival: Brutal Youth, The Filaments, Throwing Stuff, Onsind, Chief, Matilda’s Scoundrels, Tosserlad, Bobby Funk, Rash Decision, Iron Drugs, Grotbags, Dirty Twisters, Muskets, Doe, LineOut, and One Hidden Frame.

Warbringer and Evil Invaders have been announced as the final bands for the Heavy Scotland Festival.
