Transatlantic pop-rock quartet As It Is is gearing up for the release of their self-titled album. ‘As It Is’ considerably marks a new chapter for the Brighton-based band, being their first collection of new material since Patty Walters, Ben Biss, Ali Testo, and Patrick Foley got back together in late 2024.
On the run-up to the release of ‘As It Is,’ they returned to the Download Festival for only the second time. Ahead of their set on the Avalanche Stage, vocalist Patty Walters and guitarist Ben Biss sat down with AlreadyHeard. They discussed the new album, which upcoming track they’re most excited for people to hear, their upcoming headline tour, and more.
