Members of the band Lostprophets have released a statement regarding the recent news of vocalist Ian Watkins being six charges relating to sexual offences against children.
The band have pulled down their official website and have made the following comment:
“Following charges made today against Ian Watkins, we find ourselves in a state of shock. We are learning about the details of the investigation along with you. It is a difficult time for us and our families, and we want to thank our fans for their support as we seek answers.
Jamie, Lee, Luke, Mike and Stu”
Watkins has denied the charges and been refused bail and will remain in custody until December 31st.
