What is out on this #NewMusicFriday?
Take me to the Playlist
There was a smattering of releases, including ‘The wilted EP’ by Paleface Swiss, during the festive break. However, today is the first proper #NewMusicFriday of the year. However, it is quite a subdued one with Alter Bridge being the clear frontrunner. The arena rockers are starting the year with the release of their self-titled album.
Beyond that, there are new albums from The Cribs and Lionheart. Italian genre-expansive experimentalists Zu deliver a double album in the form of ‘Ferrum Sidereum’. Devon-based post-punk outfit Big Shipping shares their debut album. ‘Nobody Asked For This’ contains plenty of big, off-kilter post-hardcore riffs, with lyrical desperation. Meanwhile, Canadian punks, Calling All Captains serve up some of their rawest material to date with their new EP, ‘The Things That I’ve Lost’.
