What is out on this #NewMusicFriday?
Take me to the Playlist
In a week that has seen another British Prime Minister resign and a heat wave take over the UK, #NewMusicFriday serves up a packed week of new releases. It’s led by new albums from Muse, and The Pretty Reckless. However, albums from post-rockers Million Moons, art-rock outfit Sans Froid, and genre-blurring alt-pop trio Exploring Birdsong are well worth spending time with. Alongside the mightily impressive new EP from Every Hell, they show the UK’s independent scene continues to thrive.
There are also new albums from New Jersey punk mainstays The Bouncing Souls, outspoken punks Dead Pioneers, and the equally confrontational Hawxx. Among this week’s EP releases is Fiddlehead, who deliver three new songs on ‘Baby I’ll Change’.
If you’re a fan of mid-90s Metallica, you can delve into the remastered and expanded edition of ‘ReLoad’.
