Last week, Transatlantic grunge-infused punk trio Pale Angels released their third album, ‘Daydreaming Blues’. It takes the garage-based rock ‘n’ roll of past releases and sees the three-piece grow eclectically, showing a darker and tranquil side.

Having toured on both sides of the Atlantic, Pale Angels have built a reputation for their frantic live shows. Now with a new album out, they’re set to embark on a UK tour next month.

Before they head out on tour, we asked Jamie Morrison to compile a playlist of songs that have accompanied the band on the travels.

These are some songs that have consistently been, go to choice picks whilst driving from place to place together. I’ve tried to arrange them, so that they sound coherent as a playlist. These songs showcase a range of emotions by some of our collective favourite artists/most important musical influences. Enjoy!“ – Jamie
