Are you in an unsigned band? Want to play Southampton’s Takedown Fest on March 7th? Well thankfully the folk behind the one day event have launched a contest giving one opportunity to play a lucrative prime-time slot at the festival.
For a chance to play alongside the likes of Mallory Knox, Charlie Simpson, Devil Sold His Soul, InMe, Moose Blood and more, just follow these instructions:
1. Head to this Facebook page and post your bands music/video on its wall.
2. Post the special “Your Band Here” Takedown poster (found below) to your band’s page/group with the following message:
‘WE WANT TO PLAY TAKEDOWN | TWENTY15
VOTE FOR US NOW!
Head to www.facebook.com/Takedownfest and give them a ‘like’
Find the ‘YOUR BAND @ TAKEDOWN | TWENTY15’ event and find our video/music post and give us a ‘like’ to vote.“
The Takedown team will pick the winner from the top five as voted for by fans. The final stage announcements will be made on Friday 16th January.
Takedown Fest will take place at Southampton University on March 7tt 2015h. Early Bird tickets are available for just £30 from takedownfestival.co.uk.
