On April 18th, Superheaven will return with their first album in 10 years. The Philadelphia group will release their self-titled album through their new label home, Blue Grape Music.
Since the release of ‘Ours Is Chrome’, Superheaven have made sporadic reunions. However, the quartet of Jake Clarke (lead vocals, guitar), Taylor Madison (lead vocals, guitar), Joe Kane (bass), and Zack Robbins (drums) have regularly playing together again since 2022. ‘Superheaven’ was recorded and engineered by Clarke and Robbins, with frequent collaborator Will Yip serving as co-producer.
The announcement also sees the release of a new track titled ‘Cruel Times’. It builds on Superheaven‘s alt-rock/grunge foundations to lean into the “pensive gloom” that the upcoming album promises. You can view the Britain Weyant-directed video below.
‘Superheaven’ will also include previously released singles ‘Numb To What Is Real’ and ‘Long Gone’.
Superheaven will be back in the UK in June when they return to Outbreak Fest in London and Manchester.
