Announcement: Changes to AlreadyHeard.com

Over the coming weeks and months, Already Heard will be undergoing some changes. Ever since we launched this site, we have been eager to put emphasis on original content. Nevertheless for one reason or another, we have not always done this.

One of these reasons is down to the fact that everyone who contributes to Already Heard does it around full-time commitments and do not get paid for their efforts. Don’t worry we’re not going to spring up a crowdfunding campaign on you! The issue simply is because of the lack of time and resources we have, we’re making some changes.

Changes to News

The main change you will see on the site is less news stories. We all know there are dozens of sites, like ours, that offers the exact news that we post on a daily basis. We feel phasing out news on the site will allow us to put more focus on more original content.

As writers, we want to be producing content that we are excited about and want you to read.

However we know some of our readers consider us as a key news source. To accommodate their needs, we will publishing news stories directly through our Facebook page. We feel this will be a good opportunity to connect with our readers through discussions regularly, as well as bring our community together.

Contributing Writers Required

With our aim to produce more engaging content, we are looking to expand our writing team. We are looking for people with ideas, not just someone who can write reviews.

Therefore if you are a writer and have any ideas for articles you would like to produce for and see on Already Heard, please get in touch with us.

Admittedly these changes may not please everyone but we hope you will continue to support Already Heard into 2016 and beyond.

Thank You,

Sean Reid (@SeanReid86)
