At The Gates Share ‘The Dissonant Void’ Ahead of Final Tomas Lindberg Album
Ahead of its release later this month, Swedish melodic death metallers At The Gates have shared a second single from their upcoming eighth studio album ‘The Ghost of a Future Dead’. With the record set to be released on April 24th via Century Media Records, ‘The Dissonant Void’ is sure to entice fans with its thunderous rhythm and blistering guitar work.
Commenting on the track, At The Gates described ‘The Dissonant Void’ as “a powerful, melodic and to the point track with the classic At The Gates style sound.” They also shared that it was originally considered to be the title track.
As previously stated, ‘The Ghost of a Future Dead’ was recorded two years ago, before the passing of vocalist Tomas Lindberg in September 2025.
The accompanying video for ‘The Dissonant Void’ was directed by longtime collaborator Costin Chioreanu (Twilight 13 Media), who described the project as “my ultimate homage to the genius which will forever remain as Tomas Lindberg.” The clip is part of a wider project from Chioreanu. He is working with the band on a visual storyline that includes painting, filming, editing and production.
Prince Daddy & The Hyena Drop Double Single Ahead of ‘Hotwire Trip Switch’
Albany, NY outfit Prince Daddy & The Hyena continue to preview their new album, ‘Hotwire Trip Switch’, ahead of its April 17th release via Counter Intuitive Records. Today, the quartet shared ’30DAYS30DAYS30DAYS’ and ‘SHITSHOW or Boulevard of Soaking Dreams’.
’30DAYS30DAYS30DAYS’ sees Kory Gregory address the idea of self-improvement with off-kilter guitars and a sturdy rhythm. ‘SHITSHOW or Boulevard of Soaking Dreams’ punches with an anthemic quality and accompanying piano keys. Here, Gregory echoes Green Day’s refrain “I walk alone, I walk alone,” before twisting it with Prince Daddy‘s signature blend of self-deprecating whiplash.
Both tracks emphasise Prince Daddy & The Hyena‘s approach to make ‘Hotwire Trip Switch’ a “singles album”.
They’ll follow the release of the album with a spring headline tour across the US with Remo Drive, Liquid Mike, and Restraining Order, running from May 3rd through June 11th.
Greywind Unveil Acoustic ‘Waterfall’ Featuring Nick Thomas of The Spill Canvas
Irish emo duo Greywind are currently stateside supporting Emo Orchestra alongside The Spill Canvas. To coincide with the tour kicking off, they’ve shared an acoustic version of ‘Waterfall’, featuring Nick Thomas of The Spill Canvas.
Maintaining Steph O’Sullivan’s soaring hook, this re-worked version adds a tender layer with glistening piano keys and Nick Thomas’ soft vocals. “We’re so excited to have Nick Thomas from The Spill Canvas on the acoustic version of ‘Waterfall,’ says O’Sullivan. “It’s been so exciting to hear how another vocalist interpreted the track, and we were blown away by what Nick brought to it. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect feature on one of our songs!”
The original version ‘Waterfall’ proved to be a viral breakthrough for the band, more than doubling their overall streams and boosting their monthly Spotify listeners by over 100k.
Greywind will be back in the UK for shows supporting Tonight Alive and Youth Fountain in May. They’re also set to appear at the 2000trees Festival in July.

Guillotine Share New Single (‘Haunted’)
South-based UK rock/emo outfit Guillotine have released their latest single, ‘Haunted’.
As its title suggests, there’s an eerie intensity to Guillotine‘s latest offering, yet it sees the reinvigorated band sound sharper and more assured than ever. The band reemerged after six years away last September, releasing two tracks: ‘Does It Make You Feel’ and ‘Half As Bright’.
Lyrically, the band says ‘Haunted’ deals with “the things that don’t leave when the noise fades — past selves, old patterns, unfinished conversations.”
Alongside upcoming shows with Black Foxxes, Hawthorne Heights, Madina Lake, and Footballhead, Guillotine will be putting the finishing touches to their new album.

Held. Release Final Pre-Album Single ‘Knifepoint’ Featuring High Vis’ Graham Sayle
Held. have shared ‘Knifepoint’. It’s the final single ahead of their debut album ‘Grey’, due May 15th. The track features Graham Sayle of High Vis.
It’s a razor-sharp number that sees Sayle add a distinctive British bite to Held.‘s explosive post-hardcore. “This song has a lot of attitude, and that’s a big reason we wanted Graham from High Vis to be a part of it. We’re all big fans of Graham and High Vis,” says Douglas Robinson. “When I wrote the pre-chorus, I envisioned this British attitude reminiscent of bands like Bloc Party and Test Icicles, and I wanted it to come from someone who could back the attitude up. Graham is the perfect example of someone who can back up their words with action.”
High Vis‘ Sayle added, “I was proper excited to jump on and be a part of it. I’ve always loved the chaotic side of the post-hardcore spectrum. I love the difference in our accents and how it somehow makes sense.”
‘Knifepoint’s music video completes a three-part series directed by Adam Thomson. Together, the clips form a short film, blending Held.’s visceral performance with a cast of interconnected characters, drawn toward the mysterious pyramid from the band’s logo
