Hotly tipped Brighton four piece Black Peaks are preparing to release their debut album in late Summer. Whilst that is sometime away the quartet have announced a new single called ‘Glass Built Castles’ will be digitally released in on April 6th.
The band formerly known as Shrine premiered the song on Dan Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show. If you missed that you can hear ‘Glass Built Castles’ by clicking read more. I’m sure you’ll agree with when we say it gives Black Peaks plenty of potential as ‘Glass Built Castles’ proves to be a powerful, melodic slab of rock that is reminiscent of bands such as Mastodon.
Vocalist Will Gardner made the following comment about the track:
“Glass Built Castles is the third part of a four part , four track story on Black Peaks debut album (release date and title TBC). The song deals with a fictitious individuals thirst for revenge and the consequences of his actions viewed by an outsider”
Black Peaks will celebrate the release of the single with a headline show at London’s Barfly on April 8th. They are also set to play Takedown Fest, HRH Prog, and Live At Leeds in the coming months.
